Oh wow! Suddenly there’s a huge surge of activity and I can’t thank everyone enough! All over 100 of you! I LOVE YOU!
I don’t have any new artwork right now because I’ve been bogged down with work, but I leave you guys with one of my fave photos as thanks. ♥ Till next time

OH GOD. OH GOD. OH GOD. I MADE A POUPEE ACCOUNT. My inner fashion whore is coming out. If I were a skinny little thing instead of a voluptuous vase I’d be buying stuff left and right but instead I’m going to take it out on the internet.
I’ve loved Art Nouveau and Alphonse Mucha for almost a decade now. Finding this locket in the Rockwell Bazaar was instant GOLD.

2007 One with the Camera and the Landscape
Julia Escano on the shorline in Batangas. I miss the beach :( There’s so much turbulance everywhere and it’s hard to find that peace of mind.

Have you ever had a character inside your head that you loved so much but wouldn’t let go?
I used to draw made up characters a lot. Somehow I’ve regressed and abandoned it for a couple of years but I would never forget Skye. I think she’s the voice inside my head who keeps me fighting and pushing. I made her up to be the kind of person I want to be- retranslating my everyday life into a medieval adventure that she could conquer. Someday I hope to seriously be able to illustrate her- not really for the world to see, but to be able to complete this personal project that has lasted for years.

Got to go to Dimasalang, the flower street. I was on a mission to take references for a very important project. Though blossoms are such beautiful subjects, I’ve been better taken by the other curious shapes and textures I’ve seen there.
