The goal was to create a design fit for a tote bag with a “Spring/Summer” theme in mind. My pattern is inspired by belladonna lilies with romantic warm colors to compliment the linework. I’ve been compiling artwork for my creative folio and sifted through my old drawings to see if there’s anything I can update. Here’s Giuliano and I’ve really done a lot to refine the details and give it a more updated feel. Very satisfied with how it turned out.

What you see is a work in progress. I can’t imagine how it’s going to end up full colored but I will be working on it extensively since it’s for a friend’s project that is due to launch this September. Hope you’d watch out for it!

How can you describe a woman of art? How can you give just interpretation to a piece of craft? How can you characterize someone, construe something with such abyss? I can’t, my statement would be deficient but look, look at her art and you will understand.
Her art has the right combination of reserve and warmth (same as her). Each piece convey a certain emotion, the elements are well-executed, the sentiments are remarkable.
I am very embarrassed at how flattering this is. Gen (thiskidlovesvintage) has interviewed me for her Tumblr Tuesday project. You can read more about it through the link.
